Kingsmen was engaged by Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) to create an immersive gallery celebrating the oil and gas industry in Brunei. As BSP is a jointly owned by Shell and the Bruneian Government, we had to tell a unique story that chronicles Brunei's ancient history, Shell's discovery of oil, and Brunei's future beyond oil.
This project is slated to be a future tourist attraction in Brunei.
I was the researcher and copywriter for this project. I was required to spend hours at the NLB, reading up on Brunei's history prior and during the discovery of oil. I was also sent to Brunei to meet up with historians and comb through their Arkib (archives).
With this information, I was able to create an outline of the gallery (Gallery 1: Past, Gallery 2: Present, and Gallery 3: Future), and sort the information into various interactives and content panels. In this video produced by our multimedia partner White Label Studios, I provided the story angle, storyboarding, fact-checking, and scriptwriting.
In this touch screen display panel, I was in-charge of information architecture, content management, and copywriting.
In addition to multimedia copywriting, I had to provide in-visual copywriting for graphic panels as well.
